Cleats (“the app”) lets people run a local recreational sports league — schedules, rosters, live scores, stats and standings, plus optional fantasy lineups. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.
Information we collect
- Account info: your email address and a display name you choose. If you sign in with Google, we receive your Google account’s email and basic profile.
- League content: leagues you create or join, and any teams, rosters, schedules and stats an admin enters. If your league uses fantasy lineups, the lineups you submit each week.
How we use it
- To create and secure your account and sign you in.
- To run your league — showing scores, stats and standings to its members, and (where enabled) saving fantasy lineups and showing weekly leaderboards.
- To send you account emails (such as email verification and password resets).
How it’s stored and shared
Your data is stored using Google Firebase (Authentication and Cloud Firestore). Account emails are delivered through SendGrid. We do not sell your personal information or share it with advertisers. Your display name and any lineups are visible to other members of your league as part of normal use (leaderboards reveal after each week’s lineup lock). League content is visible only to members of that league.
Data retention & deletion
We keep your information for as long as your account exists. To delete your account and associated data, email us at the address below and we’ll remove it.
Children
Cleats is intended for members of the recreational leagues that use it and is not directed at children under 13.
